Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to handle our compression molding machines for the production of sustainable packaging products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with molding machines, an eye for quality, and a strong sense of responsibility in maintaining smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate, monitor, and maintain molding machines to ensure smooth production.
2. Set up machines with appropriate tools, molds, and raw materials as per product specifications.
3. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company quality standards during production.
4. Conduct routine inspections and quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards.
5. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with maintenance for repairs when needed.
6. Maintain accurate records of production runs, output, and downtime.
7. Support in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize machine efficiency and reduce waste.
8. Collaborate with the production and R&D teams for new product trials and process enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Plastics Engineering or equivalent technical background.
2. 2 – 5 years of experience operating molding machines (compression molding experience preferred; injection molding also considered).
3. Good understanding of machine operations, mold handling, and preventive maintenance.
4. Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setup.
5. Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail.
7. Strong teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn new processes.
